With several years of research and comprehensive information gathering, Jack "has a serious understanding of how the global super elite do their business and can deliver a daily analysis of world events with satire and a song. He understands and decodes the doublespeak, and groupthink of the mainstream media, and outlines the agenda of those who would seek to kill off or enslave the planet. Jack can also discuss mind control, corporate corruption, the police state, globalism, the united nations agenda (inalienable rights vs un privileges),secret societies, government sponsored terrorism, and collectivism vs individual sovereignty as well as breaking news du jour."

SONS OF LIBERTY's debut album, "Brush-fires of the Mind", sold around 400 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 132 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
Schaffer developed SONS OF LIBERTY for the purpose of spreading awareness about the current state of affairs worldwide. Jon's goal for this project is not to sell records, t-shirts or tickets, but rather wake people up and to get them to start researching and talking with each other.
"Brush-fires of the Mind" was released on July 13 via Century Media Records.
The web site for SONS OF LIBERTY has been launched at this location. On the web site, visitors are able to download and listen to "Brush-fires of the Mind" for free. You can now also purchase a high-resolution version of the album for only $7.99 via PayPal.
"My desire is for SONS OF LIBERTY to become part of a much larger movement that is happening around the world," Schaffer said in a statement. "This new web site will be a think-tank containing lots of interesting web links, book and movie recommendations, and much more. This will be an ongoing process, so check back often."
He added, "This is about the message and not the messenger. This is a project that I encourage you to copy and share with your friends.
"I care very much about what is happening in our world. We've been steamrolling down this road for a long time, so I assure you this is not a politically biased message. I'm hoping to set a few brush-fires in the minds of the listeners with this one. So please, check it out, do the research and get involved!"
